Solano, Susana

Susana Solano (Barcelona, 1946) is a Spanish sculptor prominent in contemporary art. Her work, characterized by the use of materials such as iron, steel and glass, explores the relationship between space, memory and human experience.

Trained at the University of Barcelona, she gained prominence in the 1980s, participating in events such as Documenta in Kassel and the Venice Biennale. Her sculptures, minimalist in style, are exhibited in museums such as the Reina Sofía and the Guggenheim Bilbao, consolidating her place as a key figure in Spanish art.
