BIOGRAPHY OF JOSEP MARIA RIERA I ARAGÓ:
Barcelona, 1954
He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona.
Throughout his career, Riera i Aragó has devoted himself to sculpture, painting and graphic work. In his work he recreates a world of machines and artifacts: airships, airplanes and submarines. In addition to bronze, he uses iron and other materials to make his airplanes and submarines float in a magical atmosphere.
Riera i Aragó has held solo and group exhibitions, and is present in various museum collections. He is also the author of large sculptures for public spaces.
